Overview

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being adopted across the capital market industry to support the preparation of reports, briefing notes, presentations, market commentaries and other documentation. As AI tools become more widely available in the workplace, capital market professionals are expected to use them effectively to improve productivity and quality of business communication while exercising appropriate professional judgement.

This practical programme focuses on the application of AI to real capital market work where participants will learn structured prompting techniques and the use of AI to prepare documentation, presentations and other communication materials across investment banking, corporate finance, debt and Islamic capital markets, stockbroking, treasury, and asset and wealth management functions. The programme also demonstrates the practical use of commonly available AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini and other AI assistants, and how to select appropriate AI tools for different day-to-day business tasks.

Through practical exercises and capital market-based scenarios, participants will apply AI to prepare reports, executive summaries, presentations, emails and other documentation more effectively. The programme also highlights key considerations relating to confidentiality, accuracy, professional judgement and the responsible use of AI-generated outputs within a capital market environment.
