Decoding Transactions and Related Party Transaction (RPT) Rules

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Analyse the extent to which Chapter 10 of Bursa Malaysia’s Listing Requirements (LR) will apply to a listed company and its group of companies;
• Explain the narrower and wider definitions of ‘transaction’ for Non Related Party Transactions (RPT) and RPT;
• Analyse the rationale of percentage ratios for transactions;
• Recognise thresholds and obligations for Non-RPT and RPT; and
• Analyse RPT scenarios with case studies.

Cancellation / Substitution
Cancellations or refunds within one (1) week from the date of the programme will NOT be entertained. Non-attendance does not constitute cancellation and no refund will be given. Substitute(s) will be accepted provided forty-eight (48) hours prior written notice is received.
